Naomi Irene Spahnle, age 92 “Entered into Rest” on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Brandel Manor in Turlock, CA.  She was born in Litchfield, Illinois and moved to Turlock with her late husband Donald Roy Spahnle shortly after their marriage and has lived in Turlock for 64 years.  Mrs. Spahnle was a cook for the Turlock School District for 30 years and at one time together with her husband they were quite active in Newcomers and Friends, Steppin Pards, Good Sam Travel Club, all of Turlock.  She also was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, Delta Blood Bank Volunteer and earlier years active at the First Baptist Church of Turlock and really enjoyed trips to the Casinos as well as playing cards and games with her friends and especially spending time with her family. Naomi Spahnle is survived by: Two Daughters – Nancy Adams and her husband Michael of Woodland, CA and Sandra Wendell and her husband Mark of Turlock; Granddaughter – Krista Adams Glynn and her husband Gabe of San Diego; Great Grandson – Trevor Glynn of San Diego. Also she is survived by One Sister – Bernadine Flynn of Illinois. Preceded in her death by: her late husband Donald Roy Spahnle on November 23, 2002; Parents – Artemus and Iola Gregg; Sisters – Beulah Bain and Neva Cappo.
