Patrick Forrest McKee
July 9, 1933 - June 28, 2021

Patrick F. McKee went home to be with the Lord at 87+ years of age June 28, 2021 at his home in Spokane, WA with his wife Sharon at his side. Patrick was born in So. Pasadena, CA to Catherine and Forrest Milligan McKee. The family moved to Arizona in 1945 and Patrick attended St. Mary’s High School, Phoenix and Arizona State University at Tempe. He served four years in the Navy as Sonarman on USS Hanna. Following military service he started what would be a long career in banking holding positions with Wells Fargo Bank, American Savings, and State Savings. During a hiatus from banking Patrick pursued his interest in the restaurant business and owned The Pancake House and Prime Rib House in Yuba City. He then participated in designing, building and managing The Refuge, a fine dining restaurant in Yuba City. Life brought him back to banking and to the Turlock/Modesto area to First Interstate Bank where he was VP and Manager of the Branch in Turlock until retirement in 1998. He was active in Turlock, in Rotary Club as past president and treasurer and the Chamber of Commerce as interim president in 1999. 

He was an avid golfer, Dodgers fan, a member of Turlock and Modesto Chambers of Commerce, a Deacon at Trinity Presb. Church in Modesto and active member of LWV of Modesto.

After retirement Patrick and Sharon moved to Florence, OR and were active in the Presbyterian Church of Siuslaw. They later moved to Spokane, WA to be with family.

He is survived by his wife Sharon, his three daughters Deidre Korthals (James), Carole Sivley (Dan), and Lisa McKee-Davis (Bradley), six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was a loving husband and father who will be missed very much. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Spokane PO Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210-2215 or your favorite charity.
