Peggy Ann Sugiura, 63, died December 20, 2011 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, CA after a sudden illness. Peggy was born on July 25, 1948, in San Francisco, CA. Peggy was the eldest of 4 children.

In 1961 Peggy moved with her family to Merced, CA where she graduated from Merced High School in 1965. Peggy worked as a Shiatsu Therapist while residing in Turlock, CA for many years before retiring, allowing her time to spend with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her husband Ed Gene Sugiura, 4 children, Jefrey Scott Gomes, Daniel John Gomes Jr., Nichole Diane Hernandez, and Stachia Nicole Gomes-Sugiura, her parents George and Mary White, her brother Dennis White, and sister Vicky Floriano, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Peggy was preceded in death by her grandparents Harvey and Jessie Killman, her sister Diana White, and her father in-law Tsutomu "Toot" Sugiura.

The family will be celebrating Peggy's life with a ceremony that will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:00pm located at Turlock Memorial Park & Funeral Home 425 N. Soderquist Rd. Turlock, CA.
