Mr. Ram Rattan, 68, was born in Navua ,Fiji Islands on Nov. 11, 1942.  He went to be with God on Thursday.  Born in the Fiji Islands, he lived in Suva for most of his life, then in Lakena Nausori , until he came to the United States in 1989.  He worked as a golf manager and bartender for many years in the Fiji golf club.  He was passionate about sports, taught golf to many, and loved being with people.

He was a great and loving husband, father and grandfather.  He will be truly missed by wife, Nirmala Rattan; his daughters, Raveena and Rina; sons-in-law, Avinesh and Ramesh; and his grandkids, Ruven and Renee. He is always in our hearts.

A funeral will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a ceremonial cremation service, Saturday, July 2 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., in Turlock.
