Theresa was born in Kentucky to Alexander and Julianna Fejes in 1923 and passed away in Hilmar at the age of 93.  As a young adult she lived in various areas where she studied art in New York and sang in a Hungarian church choir in Connecticut.  She settled in the Merced county area, married her husband Anthony Kiss and together they had four children.  

Theresa made studying the word of God most important in her life.  She was always very involved in her church; she taught Sunday school for decades.  Theresa was also a phone counselor for the 11th hour ministries, and led home bible studies for years, where she impacted many lives for the Lord.  

She loved art and continued her education at Modesto Junior College, where she studied under the renowned artist Dan Peterson.  Theresa also enjoyed cooking Hungarian food and embroidery.  

She is survived by her children Andrea Mueller, Rob (Debra) Kiss, Dorothy (Manny) Perezchica and Laura Kiss; sister in law Rosie Barker; grandchildren Gwendolyn, Rebecca, Adam, Natalie, Luke and great grandchildren Natasha, Ethan, Greyson and Kennedy. 

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband Anthony George Kiss in 2000; and five siblings.

Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Teen Challenge Faith Home Ranch.

Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 3:00-7:00p.m.  

Funeral service will also be held at Allen Mortuary on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 10:00a.m.  Burial will be held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 1:30p.m.
