Timothy J. Amrhein, 43, passed away on October 6, 2016 in New York City, just two months after being diagnosed with cancer.  Born in Seoul, Korea, Tim spent his childhood in Emmaus, PA.  He graduated from Turlock High School in California, and went on to receive a B.A. in Theater from Whitman College and a Master of Fine Arts in Scenic Design and Technology from Wayne State University.  He had a distinguished career in Theater, most recently as Professor and Chair of the Department of Performing and Fine Arts at York College (CUNY) in New York City.   He was much loved by his students, colleagues and friends.  Timothy is survived by his wife Lynnette, his 3 year old daughter Zoe, his mother Elaine Amrhein, his father John and his brother Karl.  Memorial donations, to help pay for Zoe’s education, may be made to  https://www.gofundme.com/timamrhein
