Tina Marie Adams, 45, of Turlock, died May 30. She was born in July 1965 in Jamestown, N.Y. Tina graduated in 1983 from Monroe High School and was high school valedictorian. She attended Agnes College and graduated from DeKalb College, DeKalb, Ga. in 1985. She was a computer engineer for Pyramid Technology for six years. She moved to California in 1986, and settled in San Francisco for a short time. She was employed at Back Roads Bicycling Touring and Pyramid Technology and she was a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge No. 1679 in Turlock. She enjoyed playing pool, knitting, crocheting and doing various crafts.
Tina is survived by her husband of 18 years, James G. Penhollow of Turlock; parents, John and Gloria Briscoe of Monroe, Ga.; several aunts, uncles and cousins in New York and Georgia; grandmother, Myrtle Penhollow of Jamestown, N.Y.; and Evelyn Adams of Celeron, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Adams in 1993; brother, Jeff Adams in 2007; and grandfather, James S. Penhollow in 2005.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 6 at Creative Life Center, 145 Woodrow Ave. #A2, Modesto.
