Vivian was a lifelong resident of Delhi. Vivian was a dedicated wife and mother. She was very well blessed with many family and friends.
She was a bus driver for Merced Area Rural Transportation for six years. Vivian was an active member of the Delhi Presbyterian Church for many years. She was also an active member of the Turlock Salvation Army and the Delhi Senior Citizen Club.
She is survived by her loving husband, John C. Downs Jr.; children, Kathleen Blair, John A. Downs and Sylvia Downs; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. There were many others who were considered her children and called her mom.
Services will be held on Friday Aug. 27.
Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 27, with a funeral to follow at 11 a.m., at Turlock Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd.
