Bill Walters, 79, of Turlock, was born in Modesto to William E. and Virginia (Bostrom) Walters.  He graduated from Turlock High in 1954 and soon after went to work for Patton Music Co., later managing the Lake Tahoe branch.  Upon returning to Turlock he became owner-operator of Central Valley Music, as well as Staley’s Club for 23 years until his retirement.  He was a member of Denair Lions Club.

Bill is survived by his wife, Patricia Walters, daughter Deborah Mazzola, son Rick Walters, brother Tom Walters, and two grandsons.

Visitation will be held at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., on Fri., June 24, from 3 to 7 p.m.  Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Sat., June 25, at Turlock Memorial Park.

A Celebration of Life will be announced for a later date.
