California Collegiate Athletic Association and Comcast Hometown Network announced Wednesday an agreement to televise the 2011 CCAA Men's and Women's Soccer Tournament Championship games, which will be held at Warrior Stadium on the campus of Cal State Stanislaus on Nov. 4-6.
The live commercial broadcasts of the CCAA Tournament will mark a first in conference history and comes as a result of the league's interest in creating higher visibility and Comcast Hometown Network's desire to add NCAA Division II athletics to its programming.

Semifinal games will be played on Nov. 4 and the championship games will be held on Nov. 6. Game times are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Comcast Hometown Network can be found locally in Northern California, Sacramento and the Central Valley on Comcast Cable Ch. 104.

In addition to the games being available to Comcast Cable customers, the games will also be available live on the Internet via the CCAA website and Stretch Internet.
“We are elated to have Comcast Hometown Network partner with us and televise our men's and women's soccer championships,” CCAA Commissioner Robert J. Hiegert said. “As a conference, we have been seeking ways to create greater awareness of the CCAA and develop marketing opportunities that will increase our brand, and this is going be a great step in helping achieve those goals.
