A total of 99 student-athletes from Stanislaus State have been named to the 2025-26 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference office.
The CCAA All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who have excelled both in the classroom and in competition. To earn the honor, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.40 grade-point average while lettering in a CCAA-sponsored sport.
Women's soccer led Stan State with 20 selections, followed by baseball (16), softball (12), men's soccer (9), men's basketball and volleyball (7 each), women's cross country/track & field (6), men's cross country/track & field and women's basketball (5 each), men's track & field and women's track & field (4 each), men's golf (3) and women's cross country (1).
A conference-record 1,209 student-athletes from the CCAA's 12 member institutions earned 2025-26 CCAA All-Academic Team honors, surpassing the previous record of 1,171 set during the 2020-21 academic year and marking the first time the conference has recognized more than 1,200 student-athletes.
"Congratulations to the 1,209 student-athletes who earned a place on the 2025-26 CCAA All-Academic Team," said CCAA Commissioner Allen Hardison. "Surpassing 1,200 honorees and establishing a new all-time conference record is an extraordinary accomplishment. It reflects the tremendous dedication our student-athletes bring to their academic responsibilities while also training, competing and serving as leaders within their campus communities.
"I also want to thank the faculty, coaches, academic advisors and administrators throughout the conference who support our student-athletes and help make achievements such as this possible."
The academic success of Stan State's student-athletes mirrored another outstanding year of competition for the Warriors. Warrior student-athletes combined to earn 46 All-CCAA selections across nine sports during the 2025-26 academic year, highlighted by first-team honors for men's soccer standouts Emmanuel Duran, Gerardo Flores, Angel Ruiz-Hernandez, Ian Reis and Samuel Villanueva; women's soccer's Aliah Avila; volleyball's Christallynn Tate; softball's Katelyn Bridgeman; men's cross country's Mason Oliveira; women's cross country standouts Nina Furtado, Bela Moreno, Jacqueline Sanchez-Silva, Izzy Soto and Annie Wild; and track & field standouts Alexis Nino, Logan Edwards and the men's 4x100-meter relay.
Stan State also claimed several of the CCAA's top individual honors during the year. Sebastian Carbajal was named CCAA Men's Soccer Freshman of the Year, Gerardo Flores earned Forward of the Year honors, Angel Ruiz-Hernandez was selected Goalkeeper of the Year and John Powell was voted Coach of the Year. Olivia Maragos was named CCAA Women's Soccer Freshman of the Year, Malachi Johnson earned CCAA Men's Basketball Freshman of the Year honors and Andrew Bishop was selected CCAA Men's Track & Field Freshman of the Meet. Samuel Villanueva and Ian Reis were named the CCAA Men's Soccer Tournament Offensive and Defensive MVPs, respectively, while Alexis Cervantes, Emmanuel Duran, Angel Ruiz-Hernandez, Aliah Avila and Shaelyn Pruiett also earned CCAA All-Tournament Team recognition.
