The City of Turlock will bring together more than 50 local and regional employers for its fourth annual job fair on Wednesday. This free event, open to the public, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at New Life Christian Center, 2918 W. Tuolumne Rd.
Participating employers include Turlock Irrigation District, Sutter Health, United States Cold Storage and Stanislaus State University, to name just a few. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet directly with employers, learn about available positions, participate in on-the-spot interviews and receive résumé assistance.
“A job is more than just a paycheck. It gives people an opportunity to support their families, build their careers, and plan for the future,” said Mayor Amy Bublak. “We want Turlock to be a place where those opportunities are available, and events like this help connect our residents with the businesses that make our local economy strong.”
“One of the most valuable things we can do in economic development is connect our local businesses with the workforce they need to grow and succeed,” said Anthony Sims, Economic Development Director. “This job fair is a resource for both employers and job seekers—helping businesses address their hiring needs while connecting residents with meaningful career opportunities. Building those connections strengthens our workforce, supports our local businesses, and contributes to a stronger Turlock economy.”
Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally, bring multiple printed copies of their résumé, and come prepared to speak directly with participating employers.
The annual job fair is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to connect residents with employment opportunities while supporting workforce development and a strong local economy.
