Cal State Stanislaus sophomore Jio Santana was among those named to the Daktronics/CoSIDA All-West Region team as it was announced on Tuesday.
Santana, a midfielder from Bishop, was named to the second team in a vote of sports information directors. Santana was a second-team pick by the conference coaches in the CCAA. He scored four goals with assists in helping the Warriors to a 9-5-4 overall record, their second straight winning season.
A total of 15 CCAA players were named to the first and second teams with eight on the first team. Grand Canyon's Kyle Ciliento was named the region's player of the year.
