Cal State Stanislaus junior women’s tennis player Vanesa Reibstein was all over the place at the Wilson/ITA Regional on Saturday, and with good reason.
Reibstein competed in two championship matches. She and doubles partner Verena Preikschas were within in one point of taking control of the doubles regional championship match, but ultimately lost 8-6 to Yuan Jia and Jenny Chin of BYU Hawaii.
Reibstein also played for the singles title, losing 6-2, 6-1 to Jia.
“Vanesa had the best tournament this weekend,” Stanislaus coach Verek Visaraga said.
