Warriors falter to Sonoma State

The Sonoma State women's soccer team scored three unanswered goals for a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Cal State Stanislaus on Sunday at Warrior Stadium.
Cal State Stanislaus scored two early goals in the first 20 minutes from Karenee Demery and Alexia Poon, but the Seawolves managed to rally for the win. With the loss, the Warriors fall out of first place in the CCAA North for the first time this season.
The 21st-ranked Warriors are now 5-2-3 overall and 4-2-2 in the conference. Sonoma State moved up to a share of first place by improving to 5-3-2 overall and 5-2-1 in the CCAA. The Seawolves have gone 5-1-1 in their last seven contests.
