Warriors womens tennis earns second win this week

For the second time in five days, the Cal State Stanislaus women’s tennis team defeated Cal State San Bernardino, 9-0 in women's tennis action.
The Warriors once again were dominate in the conference match over the Coyotes, shutting out CSUSB in straight sets.
In doubles competition, the No. 1 team won with the same score for the second time this week as Verena Preikschas and Katie Eng defeated Allison Brooks and Isabella Fraczek, 8-3. The Coyote pair played at No. 3 doubles last week.
Vanesa Reibstein and Arina Polovnikova then won at No. 2 doubles, 8-1 while Erin McGurty paired with Brianna McClintock to win 8-5 at No. 3 doubles to give Stanislaus an early 3-0 lead.
The Warriors also had an easy time during single play with Preikschas shutting out Brittany Choatte, 6-0, 6-0. Polovnikova also blanked her opponent, Kara Jenkins, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 4 singles.
Cal State Stanislaus did not loose a set to the Coyotes on Friday.
The Warriors will host Sonoma State at noon on Sunday.
