Turlocks Kramer a solid contributor for USA Baseball

The 16-under U.S. National Team is showcasing its dominance in the World Youth Baseball Championships in Taichung, Taiwan. It’s been convincing win after convincing win.
And Kevin Kramer is getting a piece of the action.
In his latest effort, the Turlock High junior who’s the starting second baseman, had a pair of doubles in a 16-6 stomping over Mexico at Intercontinental Stadium on Tuesday night — which tied an American single-game record.
The U.S. faces Korea today at 11 p.m. local time in the final game in pool play before the medal rounds begin Friday.
Kramer finished his game against Mexico going 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored.
And he’s been very productive since the Americans started playing in Taiwan last week. He went 1-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored against Hong Kong, he had three RBIs against the Czech Republic and he produced a triple and three RBIs against the Netherlands  — as those were the first three games of the tournament.
The Americans have outscored their opponents 75-8.
