The boys of the U11 Turlock FC Arsenal soccer club are feeling pretty good as they prepare for fall league to begin. With a 10-0 indoor record, a 9-0-2 Nor-Cal Spring League record, six tournament championships, and a number one Nor-Cal ranking for the State Cup Tournament it’s easy to see why.

“When we look for kids to join the team it’s always based on their heart,” head coach Jason Donchak said. “We want self-driven kids who listen, and that’s what we have. They leave everything on the field every time.”

The FC Arsenal’s roster includes players from Turlock, Hilmar, Atwater, Merced, and Modesto. These self-motivated players have come together to win six of this season’s seven tournaments but Coach Donchak is on the lookout for additional players to help bring the team more success.

“We’re looking to add more players because we’ll be moving from eight to 11 players on the field,” Donchak said. “Our goal is to expand the team and, ultimately, win the State Cup.”

The FC Arsenal will be conducting tryouts through the month of August up until the start of fall league in late September. For more information regarding tryouts or the FC Arsenal schedule contact Jason Donchak at 345-0368.
