There is still time for youth artists to enter their works into the Carnegie Arts Center’s exhibition, “Ready, Set, Show!”

Young artists in grades kindergarten through 12th are invited to present their creative work to the public in the Carnegie’s Ferrari Gallery, a museum-quality exhibition space.

Entry deadline is Sunday. The work will be on display from June 1 through July 1.

Works in all media will be accepted in one of four categories: Painting and Mixed Media, Drawing and Printmaking, Sculpture and Ceramics, Photography and Digital Art. Acknowledgements will be made for use of color, use of technique/material and overall creativity.

Non-refundable entry fee is $2 per work for non-Carnegie members. Entries are free for Carnegie Art Club members and artists whose parents, grandparents or guardians are members of the CAC. Each artist may enter up to three works.

Entry forms are available at www.CarnegieArtsTurlock.org or be picked up at the CAC information desk. All entry forms must be completed and returned to the CAC with the artwork on receiving dates. Payments may be made by cash/check/credit card in person at the CAC.

The final two receiving times are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

There will be an artists’ reception for the public from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. June 1. This event is free as part of the Carnegie’s Family Friday series of monthly programs designed to provide fun, educational, and creative activities for families. It is sponsored by Off Center Thrift and Gift.
