A handful of seats remain available for the Sunday night performance from “American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery at the Turlock Community Theatre.

In the two years since claiming the “American Idol” crown, McCreery has become one of the top performing country artists, with album sales topping 1.6 million, including a platinum-selling debut album, “Clear As Day,” that made Billboard history and helped him win several awards including Top New Artist by Billboard and best new artist awards at the Academy of Country Music Awards, the American Country Awards, and the CMT Awards.

During this whirlwind career explosion, he sang for President Barack Obama, performed the national anthem at the World Series, appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and NBC’s “TODAY Show,” and toured the country from coast to coast.

With the release of his second studio albumSee You Tonight, McCreery has established an impressive evolution from the immensely talented 17-year old boy with a wide smile, preternaturally deep voice and a love of faith, family and hometown, to a 20-year old young man who has grown into a seasoned, confident performer and artist.

McCreery will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

The remaining tickets are $64 and $55 and are available at turlocktheatre.org.
