Ceres Police track Wells Fargo bank robbery suspect to Turlock

A Turlock man has been arrested by the Ceres Police Department after he allegedly robbed the downtown Ceres branch of the Wells Fargo Bank on Tuesday.

The bank, located at 2905 Fourth Street, was robbed by a man who showed a note to the teller demanding money in denominations of $10, $20 and $100 bills. The suspect was described as a white male in his mid-20s to early 30s, standing about 6-foot-2 and weighing approximately 250 pounds. He wore a scruffy beard/mustache, black sunglasses on his forehead, a green shirt with a logo and dark pants.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect walked out in a southerly direction to his vehicle parked in front of the bank.

A picture of the alleged suspect was provided to police from bank security along with a vehicle description and license plate number.

With the help of eyewitnesses, police identified the suspect as Nolan Krasko of Turlock. He was arrested Wednesday morning in Turlock. He was charged with bank robbery and felony probation violation.

Krasko is being held at the Stanislaus County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 bail.
