A fight between neighbors turned ugly when one neighbor hit the other with a glass lid to a crockpot.
The incident was reported around 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Geer Road.
The neighbors had been fighting about individuals climbing a fence, said Turlock Police Lt. Jeff Lopes, when Sergeo Perez, 38, allegedly struck his neighbor on the head with the glass lid.
The blow caused a deep enough cut to require medical attention, according to the police department.
Perez was booked for assault with a deadly weapon.
