EMANUEL CELEBRATES NURSES & HOSPITAL WEEKS
EMC nurses week 1
In honor of Nurses' Week, Emanuel Medical Center announced its 2025 Nursing Excellence Award recipients: Ruth Olguin, RN (Image of Nursing); Harsimran Bains, RN, (New Grad of the Year); Matthew Haskett, RN (Nurses as Teachers); Dina Cliatis, RN (Nurses as Leaders); Noelle Bondy-Villa, RN (Nurse Leader of the Year); and Teven Orosco, RN, (Nurse Leader of the Year).

Over the past two weeks, Emanuel Medical Center and hospitals across the nation have been celebrating Nurses Week (May 6 – May 12) and Hospital Week (May 11-May 17) to honor their work for those in need. And It is not coincidence that National Hospital and Healthcare Week starts as Nurses Week culminates. The connection between nurses and the whole of a hospital is a strength to be admired, and both are anchored to May 12 in honor of Florence Nightengale, the founder of modern nursing, and her legacy of compassionate care and patient advocacy.

Nurses Week 2

“Our teams really are the best part of a community built on care that our Turlock communities have trusted for generations. This is a time to thank each and every one of them for serving patients in their hour of need. Collectively, they make Emanuel more than just a place for treatment or surgery: it is a vital hub for innovation, community health, and wellness initiatives that include local partnerships, health education programs, and outreach,” said Emanuel Medical Center CEO Mike Klepin.
