Patrick Wayne Flood passed away at Emanuel Medical Center, Turlock, with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Renton, WA and raised in San Francisco, CA. He was very proud of his dual citizenship, U.S. and Ireland, from his mother, an immigrant from Belfast, Northern Ireland.

He was preceded in death by his son, Riley Patrick Flood.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Anita Flood, and daughters: Sarah Grantano (and Anthony) of Turlock, Amanda Antis (and Johnie) of Hughson, Emily Anderson (and Joseph) of San Quentin, and Frankie Flood (and Thomas Dow) of Reno, NV. He is survived by one brother, Michael Hachtel of San Francisco. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashley Ramaley, Zachary Ramaley, Jossalyn Antis, Brienna Antis, Trey Antis, Charlotte Anderson, and Penelope Ralphe (Flood).

He was employed as a heat treat operator, heavy equipment operator in mining and logging, and a truck driver for Safeway. He was a Harley rider most of his life. He also enjoyed tattoos, Motown music, reading Westerns, gardening, and was a huge fan of San Francisco 49ers. Also a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church, Turlock Democrat Club, and Sonora Alano Club.

He took great pride in his family and especially found joy in sharing all the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren. Though he is deeply missed and our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in remembering the laughter he brought to our lives through the countless stories and shared memories.

His funeral will be held at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 915 E. Main St., Turlock, CA, on Friday, July 17, 2026 at noon.

Remembrances can be made to St. Francis Church or Lymphoma Research Foundation.
