Johnnie Lee Walner, age 34, of Turlock, California passed away August 2, 2026, at his residence. He was born July 16, 1992, in Modesto, California to Lisa Alcordo and his father the late Johnnie Fletcher. Johnnie was a lifelong resident of Turlock.

He proudly graduated from Turlock High School and participated in JROTC and the Sea Cadets trying to follow the footsteps of his grandfather Sheman and uncle Eddie, both Navy Veterans.

He was a member of First Christian Church and life member of VFW Post 5059 Auxiliary in Turlock.

He enjoyed fishing, beach trips, snowboarding and camping. He was an avid hobbyist collecting uranium glass, working on his car, and gardening. Johnnie also loved his dogs Penny, Princes and Pup.

His most profound moment of life was becoming a father and he deeply cherished the time spent with his son.

He is survived by his beloved son, Johnnie Walner Jr.; his mother, Lisa Alcordo and Chris Ferrando; his grandmother, Ruth Walner; his sister, Tyrena and Taylor Alcordo; nephew, Dominic Alcordo; siblings of Arkansas Sisters Stephine Main, Mandi Fletcher Simpson; brother Harold Fletcher; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will sadly miss him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Fletcher; grandfather, Sherman Walner; and brother, Bobby Tennisson.

A memorial service celebrating Johnnie’s life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at First Christian Church of Turlock located at S. Denair Ave, Turlock, CA 95380.
