A Turlock man is facing allegations of kidnapping and domestic violence after a dispute with his former girlfriend turned physical, according to the Turlock Police Department.

Bulmaro Lombera, 21, was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence, kidnapping, and other related offenses.

The issue began around 10:45 p.m. Monday when a resident called the police department to report a verbal disturbance happening on Aspenwood Drive between a man and a woman.

The officers responding to the call were told by the woman that she had come to help Lombera with a flat tire, but that the two had got into an argument.

According to the police report, the woman said they were arguing in the vehicle when Lombera allegedly grabbed her by the arm and bit her knee. She told the officers she got out of the car, but then Lombera chased after her and pulled her back by her hair. He also destroyed her cell phone when she tried to call the police.

Lombera was taken into custody without incident.
