A man wanted for a double homicide in Hilmar was apprehended Thursday in Sacramento, the Merced County Sheriff’s Department reported.

Victor Bazan, 40, was wanted in connection with the double homicide that was discovered at a home in the 19000 block of American Avenue in Hilmar on Tuesday night.

Two adult victims were found at the residence. The sheriff’s department has not released any information about how the individuals were killed.

At least one of the victim’s was related to Bazan, according to the sheriff’s department. The names of the deceased have not been released.

Bazan was known to reside in Modesto, Turlock and Ceres.
