A Turlock man is facing a litany of criminal charges after he was caught with a stolen credit card and phony identification cards.
The arrest of 45-year-old Kreig Bettencourt came shortly after he used one of the fake ID cards and the stolen credit card to rent a generator from a Turlock store.
Bettencourt was stopped around 5:30 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of South Avenue. He had in his possession several false ID cards, as well as a second generator.
Bettencourt was arrested on suspicion of burglary, forgery, possession of stolen property and fraud.
