The report of a missing 10-year-old Turlock girl on Thursday led to an hours-long search that came to an end when she was found hiding in some bushes near her home, the Turlock Police Department reported.
The police department was notified of the missing child around 4:30 p.m. Thursday. She was last seen in the 300 block of Vasche Avenue.
Multiple officers began searching for the child and her name and photo were shared on various social media sites.
A few hours after the search began the girl was found hiding in the bushes near her home. She was safe and had apparently hidden because she was upset she couldn’t dye her hair.
