The Turlock Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that left one person injured.

The shooting happened around 10:30 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Twentieth Century Boulevard.

The police department received initial reports of a drive-by shooting with callers stating an adult man shot multiple times at two people standing on the sidewalk, said Turlock Police Department spokesman Sgt. Michael Parmley.

The suspect’s gunfire struck one person who was rushed to a local hospital by a friend, Parmley said. The gunshot wound was not considered to be life-threatening.
