Five suspects wielding guns broke into a home occupied by a couple and their four-month-old baby, only to realize they had stormed into the wrong house.
Around 1:40 a.m. Friday the suspects forced their way into the home in the 800 block of Pedras and quickly overcame the husband and wife, Turlock Police Lt. Ron Reid said.
The husband was tied up with shoe strings, but the wife was allowed to care for the baby.
The suspects ransacked the entire house, but not finding what they were looking for, they made comments that lead investigators to believe the suspects had broken into the wrong home.
The five suspects stole the victim’s cell phones, a laptop computer, and a guitar.
There was no description available of the suspects.
