A Turlock Unified School District employee was arrested on Wednesday following a tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.
During the investigation from the NCMEC tip, Camden Wilson, 23, of Denair was identified as the person in possession of child pornography.
Wilson was arrested on Wednesday at his place of employment — the Turlock Unified School District — and taken into custody. The school district was notified and, according to the Sheriff’s Office, is taking appropriate action to help ensure the safety of its students. The school district has not yet commented on the arrest.
He was booked into the Stanislaus County Sheriff Detention Center on charges of
possession of child pornography, illegal contact or communication with a minor, and sending or showing explicit or obscene material to a person under the age of 18.
Wilson’s residence was searched and any evidence recovered is pending review.
