Store clerk robbed at closing

The Turlock Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of a store clerk that occurred Monday night.

The clerk was not injured in the robbery but investigators believe one of the suspects may have cut his hand.

The robbery was reported at 12:38 a.m. Monday at the Stop and Shop market at 2735 Geer Road.

The clerk was locking up the store when two unknown males came up behind him.

The two suspects told that clerk not to move or they would shoot him, according to the police report.

The suspects took the clerk’s wallet and cell phone and were last seeing running away on foot on Geer Road.

At some point in the robbery one of the suspects sustained a cut on his hand, according to the TPD.

The only description of the suspects was that they were wearing dark hoodies.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the police department at 668-5550.
