Gunshots rang out Tuesday morning in three different Turlock neighborhoods and investigators believe at least two of them are linked.

No one was injured from the three shootings, the Turlock Police Department reported.

The first shooting was reported at 6:16 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of W. Hawkeye Avenue. A specific apartment was targeted and struck with gunfire, said Turlock Police spokesman Sgt. Mike Parmley.

Officers found evidence of the shooting at the scene. The motive for this shooting is not known at this time.

The second call came in at 6:39 a.m. Tuesday in the 4200 block of Ferreira Ranch. The shooter fired multiple shots, which hit the residence.

“The suspect in this shooting is described as being between 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches and was between 150 to 170 pounds wearing a ski mask,” Parmley said.

The initial call indicated the suspect vehicle was an older Chevrolet Cobalt with black rims, but developing information showed the suspect vehicle was likely a silver Honda or Lexus with dark colored rims.

The third shooting was reported at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of Julian Street. In this incident several vehicles and a residence were struck with gunfire.

“Video surveillance shows a darker silver sedan arrive at the residence and the same suspect as described on the Ferreira Ranch incident shooting at the residence multiple times,” Parmley said. “The vehicle then flees the area.”

Based on the evidence collected, investigators believe the incidents on Julian and Ferreira Ranch were the work of the same suspect.
