Vandals strike neighborhood around high school

The Turlock Police Department is investigating a rash of vandalism around Turlock High School that left several residents with slashed tires.

The vandalism all occurred sometime between the late evening hours of Feb. 3 and the early morning hours of Feb. 4.

In all five houses were targeted by the vandals. All but one of the residents reported their tires had been slashed on one or multiple vehicles, some of which were parked in the driveways. In one report a vehicle’s back window was shot out by a BB gun, said Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Steve Rodrigues.

At this time there is no suspect information.
