Crowell Elementary School Assistant Principal Robert Lanz read a bully-free book titled “The Bully from the Black Lagoon” to Sally Dickinson’s second grade class on Tuesday. Crowell was just one school that participated in the Bully-Free Read In throughout the Turlock Unified School District this week. Each school pulled bully-free books from their libraries to read to their classes. The Rotary Club also donated new bully-free books.
So far at Crowell Elementary, over 40 parents and community members have volunteered to read a bully-free book to the students.
