FFA chapters come together in Turlock for sectional speaking contest

Turlock High FFA had team and individual wins at the Tri-Rivers Sectional Speaking Contest on Wednesday (Photo contributed).

Turlock High School welcomed the FFA chapters of the Tri-Rivers Section for the annual Sectional Speaking Contest on Wednesday night. Members from Turlock, Pitman, Turlock Christian, Denair and Hughson competed, with several placing in their respective categories.

Turlock Christian FFA

Both Turlock High and Turlock Christian High FFA had team wins, with THS taking first high team in Cooperative Marketing and Water Issues and third high team in Big; and TC taking second place in Cooperative Marketing and fourth place in California Water.

Hughson FFA 1
