Modesto Junior College is hosting an African American Educational Conference from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 1, in the Mary Stuart Rogers Student Learning Center on the West Campus.

The conference aims to ensure student success by hosting a series of workshops on topics such as how to prepare for college, financial aid, career options and social as well as interpersonal skill building. Entertainment will be provided in the form of drumming by Sista Khemya and a step show.
