Turlock’s 21st Postmaster General was installed on Friday when Neil Gonzalez took the official oath of office.

“To me, being postmaster is a prestigious position that entails a high level of responsibility, commitment and integrity, not only to our customers, but to my employees as well,” Gonzalez said. “USPS is the original social network. We are connecting people every single day; the same way Ben Franklin did in his day. I am proud to be a part of that rich history. As postmaster, my goal is to ensure the safety of my employees, while providing quality service to our customers. I am also a strong proponent of helping local business owners expand their reach by means of our new innovations such as Informed Delivery and improved visibility with precise and accurate scanning.”
