Reverend Kathie Galicia of St. Francis Episcopal Church and Pastor Sylvia Meuller of Light of Christ Lutheran Parish blessed local animals on Sunday in celebration of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. The yearly tradition honors St. Francis and his love for all creatures and thanks pets for their service and companionship. Cats, goats, and dogs big and small participated in this year’s blessing.
