Dog show comes to town
kennel-pic3
Dogs of breeds big and small braved the windy weather on Friday to compete, along with their owners, in day one of the Golden Valley Kennel Club’s all-breed show. While there was stiff competition in every judging ring at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds on Friday, participants still found time to talk with friends, human and canine alike.
Day two of the annual dog show will begin at 8 a.m. today, with group judging expected to start by 2 p.m. followed by Best in Show. Admission is free, but there is a charge for parking at the fairgrounds.
