Fair deadlines for 4-H, FFA exhibitors fast approaching

The deadlines for 4-H and FFA entries are May 17 and May 31. Participants must have their entry forms turned in no later than 5 p.m. on the deadline date.
Entry forms may be turned in by mail or in person at 900 N. Broadway, Turlock, 95380, in the Exhibits Office located in E-2, or online at www.stancofair.com.
The May 17 deadline applies to the following 4-H and FFA Exhibits:
• Horse
• Junior Livestock
• Still Exhibits (except Ag Horticulture, Ornamental Horticulture, FFA Ag Mechanics, Rabbits, Poultry, Cavies, and Dogs)

The May 31 deadline applies to the following 4-H and FFA exhibits:
• FFA Ag Mechanics
• Junior Industrial Arts
• Ag Horticulture
• Ornamental Horticulture
"We love to see 4-H and FFA members take pride in their exhibits and it's a rich part of fair for guests to experience," said Laura Moore, Exhibits and Interim manager for the Stanislaus County Fair.
For rules and regulations regarding exhibits, get a copy of the Exhibitor Handbook on the fair's website at www.stancofair.com or at the fair office. Copies of the Exhibitor Handbook are also available at the following locations (times and days for business hours may vary): Denair Library, Hilmar Cheese, Cloths & Quilts, Turlock Library, Turlock Livestock Auction, and Valley Distributors.
The 2012 Stanislaus County Fair opens July 13 for a 10-day run.
