Three people were displaced from their home after flames raced through the Denair house Thursday morning.
The fire was reported at 2:48 a.m. Thursday at a home in the 3000 block of Shoshone Drive.
The family of three and their two dogs were able to get out of the home without any significant injuries, according to the Denair Fire Department.
The fire caused extensive damage to the home and the family was displaced. The Red Cross is helping with temporary housing.
The origin and the cause of the fire are under investigation by the Stanislaus Regional Fire Investigation Unit.
