Dolly, the Australian Shepherd mix that went missing after her owners were hit by a car has returned home.

Dolly went missing Jan. 9 after a car hit and killed Elizabeth Mancha, 46, and injured Dave McThorn, 53, at Summerfaire Park in Turlock.

The dog returned home and was seen by a local veterinarian. She is said to be in good condition.

The investigation into the hit and run remains open.
