Lovers of pizza and Mexican food alike will be pleased to hear two distinguished providers of the cuisines are set to make Turlock their newest home.

Construction on PizzaRev and Dos Coyotes is currently underway in Monte Vista Crossings, with the new locations being built right next to the spaces that houses T Mobile and Panera Bread.

Dos Coyotes was established in 1991 by Bobby Coyote, who had a desire to bring a place that combined a great, unique Santa Fe-inspired menu and an engaging atmosphere at an affordable price. The restaurant’s menu provides seasonal specials, taking advantage of the region’s diverse produce, and is referred to by Coyote as a “people’s restaurant” on the Dos Coyotes website. In addition to its seasonal specials, the restaurant offers burritos, salads, tacos and dinner plates, as well as vegetarian and gluten-free menus.

Since 2012, PizzaRev has put a personal spin on pizza, allowing customers to call the shots when it comes to their meal – similar to a Subway or Chipotle. Patrons pick the dough, sauce, cheese and toppings, and a stone oven cooks the pizza in less than three minutes. PizzaRev offers a wide variety of ingredients that includes gluten-free and organic options, along with over 30 artisanal cheeses. The restaurant also allows its customers to host fundraisers through the business.

Opening dates for both restaurants have not been released, and a request for comment to both franchises went unanswered.
