Agueda da Encarnacao Furtado, 89, of Turlock passed away on Jan. 2, 2011 in Turlock.

She was born July 11, 1921 in Corvo, Azores. She was a homemaker for 50 years and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Turlock.

She is survived by nephew, Luis DeAna and his wife, Silvina, of Livingston; nieces, Christina Lima and her husband, Tome, of Ballico and Cindy DeAna of Hilmar; daughter-in-law, Eulalia Dias of Canada; sister, Teresa Pimentel of Azores; sister, Ester Assencao DeAna of Boston; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Pimentel.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 10 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel. A Rosary/ Mass are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons St., Turlock. It will be officiated by Father  Luis Cordeiro. Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park.
