Alberto M. Espinola, 64, of Hilmar, passed away on March 19 in Hughson.

He was born on Jan. 29, 1947 in Porto Judeu de Baixo, Terceira, Azores. He was a dairy milker for 30 years, and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Hilmar, P.F.S.A. and Our Lady of Miracles of Gustine. He enjoyed playing cards and dominos and riding his bike.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lourdes C. Espinola of Hilmar; daughters, Lisa Sperry-Espinola of Hilmar, Susie Espinola and Dorothy Espinola, both of Turlock, Marlene Ramos of Riverbank, Jessica Espinola of Stevinson and Melanie Espinola of Hilmar; son, Xavier Espinola of Hilmar; brother, Albino Espinola of Terceira, Azores; sisters, Rosa  Bradford of Canada and Natalia Sousa of Delhi; and grandchildren, Chris Espinola, Sky Sperry, Samantha Ramos, Dominic Ramos, Brain Pimentel and Hono Pimental.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Chapel in Turlock. A Rosary/Mass combined will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 24 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 20263 American Ave., Hilmar. Burial will be at North Hilmar District Cemetery.
