Allie Elizabeth Hurst, a long-time resident of Patterson, Calif., passed away Friday with her family by her side at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.
She was born May 1938 in Ringling, Okla. and at the age of 3, she came to Patterson. After 20 years as an operating room technician, she retired from Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock. She was a lifetime member of the L.A.V.F.W. Post 10293 in Ceres; she also enjoyed traveling, camping and crafts.
Allie is survived by her three children, Sheryll Overton of Turlock, Margaret Erickson of Merced and David Hurst of Ceres; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Audrey Medlock of Modesto and Kathryn Cotner of Greeley Hill; brother, Sherman Renfrow of Modesto; and former husband, Bob Hurst.
Visitation was held Tuesday. A graveside service will be held at noon on Wednesday, April 21 at the Patterson Cemetery, 10800 HWY 33, Patterson, CA.
