Calvin Coolidge Vickery was born on January 10, 1925 in Oklahoma, to Charity Jane  (Jones) and Albert Simon Vickery.  He died in his sleep at his home in Vallejo, California on April 23, 2016, at the age of 91.

He was preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings, his first wife, Alma Lavada Vickery, and his second wife, Gladiola (Gladys) Vickery.

He is survived by his four children: Jane Threet of San Jose; Doug Vickery of Modesto; Ron Vickery of San Jose; and Linda Adams of Discovery Bay. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
