Cline
Charles Evert Cline, 87, has gone fishing in the sky.  His final days were spent at home surrounded by family and friends who he had touched in some way throughout his memorable life.
He was born in Reydon, Okla. and moved to California in the late 1940s.  He served his country in the U.S. Army.  He was a Cadillac/Oldsmobile service manager for over 40 years.  He reigned as president of the Turlock Horseman’s Club and then later became an honorary member.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping.  He loved playing cards — especially, when he won!  He did a lot of traveling with the Horseman’s Club and with family.
Chuck is survived by  his wife, Carol Cline of Turlock; daughters, Kathy (Gary) Elmore of Sonora,  Denise Bengard of  Twain Harte and Janette (Richard) Domingos of King City; seven stepchildren,  Cindy (Sam)  Postma of Hilmar, Wayne Fleming of Hilmar, John Fleming (Pam) of Salida, Mary-Jo Higgins (Steve) of Minnesota, Betty-Jo (Tony) Nascimento of Turlock, Kimmy-Jo Rochester of Turlock and James Rochester (Kalisa) of Atwater; 19 grandchildren; and he was also blessed with one great grandchild and one on the way.  He leaves behind his best friend and fishing partner, Everett Rodriques.
A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 14 at the Turlock Horseman’s Club, 1506 S. Tegner Rd., Turlock.
